Senior Golang Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Golang Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, high-performance backend systems powering next-generation financial products and infrastructure. You will work on mission-critical services, APIs, real-time systems, and cloud-native architectures designed for reliability, speed, and scale.

As part of the core engineering team, you will collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and frontend teams to architect and deliver secure, production-ready solutions for both businesses and consumers.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang

• Build high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices

• Develop reliable and secure financial infrastructure systems

• Optimize application performance, latency, and system reliability

• Work with distributed systems, queues, caching, and real-time data pipelines

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade features

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making

• Monitor, debug, and improve existing services and infrastructure

• Implement security and best practices across backend systems

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards

What we're looking for

• 3–5 years of professional backend development experience

• Strong proficiency in Golang

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design

• Experience building scalable APIs and microservices

• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

• Experience with Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments

• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Experience with Git and modern development workflows

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of concurrency, memory optimization, and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in fintech, SaaS, or high-scale startups

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and DevOps practices

• Experience with gRPC and event-driven architecture

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to real-time systems and distributed architecture

• Understanding of security best practices in financial systems
